Hi,

I want to delete everything on my computer and re install windows so that I have all the original settings. I also want all the drivers on there so i can play games like Rome Total War. I have 1 disc which is called "

"Reinstallation CD Microsoft Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2."

Is this all i need to completely wipe my computer and then reinstall everything so that I can play games?

Thanks!

Is this a Dell PC?

If you have the Dell System restore ( not all Dells do ) you can use that and you will not need a install CD

Dell - Technical Support

If not, You can get a reinstallation guide specific to your Dell here

Can i also use that disc though?

Will the Pc restore also keep all my drivers on my computer?

You need the drivers to run the computer and hardware or you won't be able to do much

You need drivers to run XP . . after you load XP, doenload and install the drivers:

You can go to the Dell support site, enter your Service Tag Number and download the drivers. Be sure to use IE and do not use the Dell Download Manager!

Just download the driver file, save it to the desktop and double click to install

After the drivers are installed, download and install SP3, then install your antivirus and other applications

The Service Tag Number is on a small sticker either on the top or rear of a tower, bottom of a laptop
