How to find stuff that as been deleted

Hi everyone,

shame on me i did exactly what i've been telling everyone not to do, i (by not paying enough attention) deleted a bunch of pictures from my computer, and even worst, i emptied the trash ...

Can PLEASE someone help me over this,

i'm using XP SP2, and NO the restore was not activated...

should i just hang myself to something or there is a way to retreive my pictures.

i cannot explain how important these pictures are important to me.

You should be able to get your pictures back with a data recovery program like GetDataBack or PC Inspector. I've used them in the past to recover files from months ago, even after a format.

Thanks million times, i found almost everything i had lost, there are a couple of files that are actually corrupted, but hey, as far as i am concern now, its 100% better than it was 5 hours ago.

The corrupted files were probably partially overwritten. Nothing you can do about that. Which program did you use?

btw, now you've got your files back, remember to backup :winkgrin:
