xp crashes or monitor signal losss?

i get to DOCUME~ and i'm lost , also there's no LOCAL folder showing in the USER extention

How do i find this location, i can zip and post..once found.

Of the two dumps, one shows a definite pointer to memory problems and the other indicates a core driver tried to access memory at an improper location.

Have you any more dumps?

You should set up a Memtest86 floppy or CD routine and run it for 7 passes (this is a lengthy process BUT does do a good job of checking Ram).
