Yes in my case probably up to his:wave:

 

click on the ide listing in the device manager which the drive is on
go into properties
check it is running in dma mode and not dropped back to pio mode
in the bios check hardware monitor section for the tempretures and voltages it lists and post them

how much RAm do you have installed.
it might simply be that playing the DVD is too much for your system to handle
give some system specs

you will have to look at the label on the side of the power supply for the information

 

upgrade your drivers for the cd drive and upgrade the firmware.

 

the drivers are part of windows

 

i though the drivers would be part of the manufacturer. i mean windows generally doesn't install the drivers you have to install it additionally. unless i am wrong ray:

 

they have been part of windows since xp
