"Destination net unreachable." Occuring every 5 mins
Hello TechSupport,
This is the first time I've had to make a post here. I've tried everything I know to fix this problem; direct connect, connected with router, firewall disabled, malware scans, and various cable unplugs for durations of time. Nothing's worked thus far, and this is what I get pinging any server every 5 mins:

Connection is wireless, ISP is locally owned and operated (nethop.net), and this has never happened prior to the last two days.
Would someone possibly ping nethop.net for about 5-6 mins to see if they're recieving massive packet loss at some point in time? That would at least tell me whether the server is the problem or it's just me.
Thanks in advance

Because no one's replied to this problem yet, consider this reply a bump.

Re: "Destination net unreachable." Occuring every 5 mins
if you can ping your nic the next step would be to ping your router and work your way out to the net always start with your own device and work your way out never in reverse

Re: "Destination net unreachable." Occuring every 5 mins
After doing some research on the problem, I've discovered there's several posts on different forums regarding this same problem. None of the ones I looked at provided solutions that worked, however each had the problem occuring at the exact same interval; about 5-6 mins. There have been many mentions of winsock fixes, but that is not the problem here.
Thanks in advance.

Re: "Destination net unreachable." Occuring every 5 mins
The problem isn't fixed yet, I only wanted to make the supporters more aware that winsock fixes aren't doing anything.
Here's my setup right now:
There's a tower about 2-3km from my house that's providing the wireless service. I have a satellite directly outside the room I'm in pointed at the tower. There is a CAT cable from the satellite connecting the satellite to an Injector of Power Over Ethernet box. There is another CAT cable connected from the box to my PC.
The problem:
ISP stops pinging for 10-15 secs every 5-6 mins.
ipconfig /all results:
Cable is directly connected from Injector of Power Over Ethernet box to PC, no static IP is setup:

I would assume the ISP is responsible for most network lag, but lag that follows a pattern? I can only hope my efforts here are not in vain.
Also, this has been going on for 3 days now.

Re: "Destination net unreachable." Occuring every 5 mins
Using the router, Go to Start/Run and type ncpa.cpl and press enter. In the Network Connections right click the Local Area Connection/Properties. Scroll down to Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) /Properties make sure Obtain a DNS Server Address Automatically is checked. Go to Advanced/DNS tab make sure the boxes are blank. Then go to a Command Prompt type ipconfig /release and press enter. The IP address changes to 0.0.0.0 Now type ipconfig /flushdns and press enter. Now type ipconfig /renew and press enter. You should have a new IP address and the DNS server should be the same address as the DHCP server.

Re: "Destination net unreachable." Occuring every 5 mins
Once I had similar problem.....I would receive heavy drops after every few mins.....My problem was of the network cable.....Your problem might be the same......Check the network cable that connects to your system. If possible replace the existing network cable with a new one & then see do you still experience drops??
I am not sure whether it will work in your case but as I said it had worked in my case.
