DEll Error Code 1000-0321

I have a dell 5150 inspiron running windows xp. When it starts up it goes through the windows boot then a black screen then a blue screen and then back to boot up. In the PSA I get an error code 1000-0321. ..cannot find lcd display. THE hardware is good because I can boot from an older backup hard drive. any ideas what the problem is and how to fix it?

Go here and chat with a Dell tech. Believe or not most of the Dell techs I have spoken to have done a good job. They should help you narrow it down at least.
