This is a friends computer and she "doesn't know" how this happened. It is a Toshiba Satellite Laptop with XP Home. The computer will not Uninstall iTunes (for one, but there are others it won't uninstall either). I noticed that in the Programs file it shows iTunes but only the "about" section. I went to add remove programs and tried to uninstall and I get an error message saying that it can't uninstall. I tried reinstalling but it won't do that eithet

Download the Revo Uninstaller . . it will usually remove a program that the uninstaller cannot.

Revo uninstaller | Download Revo uninstaller | Get Revo uninstaller for Free

Actually, that was the first thing I tried. I've used the program myself before and it worked. Not this time. Any other suggestions?

Be carefull with it . . Microsoft pulled it because it was doing things it was not supposed to.

Download Windows Installer CleanUp Utility 2.5.0.1 Free - Remove Windows Installer configuration information on failed installs - Softpedia

So far.... All of Apple- QuickTime, Bonjour, iTunes, etc and also the ask toolbar and Bing will not update. There might be others that I just have not tried yet. The installer isn't the problem because I have installed Revo and the latest Windows Installer.
