so i wanna build my own bootable XP CD. i checked out this program: http://www.nliteos.com/ which allows u to remove some standard apps but it doesnt allow u to add (as far as i can see). it then creates the bootable disc for you. i was interesting in making my own cd/dvd with some programs that dont install normally, ie. firefox, nero, winrar, winiso, flashfxp etc... size is of no concern although i doubt id exceed the capacity of a cd, and even if i did, i wouldnt mind making a bootable dvd.
ghosting is one option but thats limited to a specific computer. i guess its not completely out of the question if i make an image of a basic desktop with all the applications i want... but that defeats the purpose of what im trying to achieve.
i read some about slipstreaming but that seems to be for implementing service packs and updates...
can someone recommend some tutorials on compiling my own cd/dvd? or maybe offer up some programs that im not aware of. thanks in advance.
