Lately my laptop has been redirecting my google searches to yellowpages or other sites. I think my computer has been infected, tried installing Mcafee, and after the restart I started getting the BSOD. This error pops up "Stop: 0x0000007b (0xf78a6524, 0xc0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) and I can't even get past with Safe Mode. I do not mind reformatting my hd if I can somehow get my all my data saved on it.

Please help!

Hi upsideumop124,

I too got the same error, but in different situation. dai may be right. Jus try fixing it by getting into BIOS settings. Go to system settings and point to hard disk configuration -> and select ATA configuration. I think ur hard disk supports SATA-ATA config rather than any others. Try doing...... and reboot again.
