Anti virus deleted explorer.exe

Avira Antivir is the program and i was hoping there was a way to get it back without reformatting.
I can access executable files through command prompt and task manager but no folders.
I have also tried system restore and running explorer.exe in command prompt and neither worked.
Help would be very much appreciated
