Ad aware cannot connect to service error

I've just downloaded the ad award anniversary edition and when I try to run it, I get an error message that says "cannot connect to service."

I've tried manually starting the service and no luck.

I've also ran the program HijackThis and have a log file on notepad if this helps.

What I'm trying to do is get ad aware to run.
