Acess Win 7 PC HD from XP Laptop?

I have a home network where I have two Win 7 PCs and one XP laptop. Since I use one of the win 7 pcs to store multimedia on, I want to be able to access the 2nd drive on one of the Win 7 PCs from my xp laptop. I've tried just about everything I can think of involving setting up workgroups, turning on sharing on all computers, etc. No locuk in accessing the hard drive. I can see it on my network, but it says I am "not authorized"...

Anyone been down this road and know how to remedy it?

my computer>right click hard drive> click sharing tab> click "if you understand the risk, but still want to share the root of the drive click here" and follow through

Done all that.. finally got it to work, after changing network to something other than Win7 Homegroup!
