I desperately need to view the (generated) source of a "pop up" created by window.showModalDialog (I can't find the exact call which makes it because it is buried somewhere in the "framework"). All of the browser features are disabled in this "pop-up", menus etc (so I can't run the IE debug utility), including the right-click context menu. Is there any way I can either

1. get around this with a set of hotkeys (not documented on the MS web site http://www.microsoft.com/windows/pro.../quickref.mspx)
2. find the generated HTML somewhere in temporary internet files
3. search on some string that is being sent via JavaScript to the browser that disables the browser features? (not sure what I would search on)

There is no average time that i'm online that this happens but all of a sudden the computer freezes.

I cannot get task manager up and i have to reboot the computer.

I've tried various fixes such as resetting the default settings but it just keeps happening.

I still need to do some more testing on this, but could this be something to do with the internet security program?

Don't wish to view files and manually delete from here every time: C:\Documents and Settings\Autologin\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files, but would prefer an automated system.

In IE6 or IE7 when I enter a value in a text box and try to go to the next box by either "tabbing" or clicking it takes around 10 seconds before the cursor will move. This behavior is rendering my page useless.

In either Firefox 3.5 under Windows or Seamonkey under Linux the response is immediate (as I would expect in IE).

This occurs on multiple computers including a Dell quad core workstation running Wiindows XP SP2 and IE7, a Dell workstation running Windows 2000 and IE6, a Dell laptop running Windows XP SP2 and IE7.

On all these machines I am running Firefox 3.5 and the response is immediate.

Copy and paste this into the Command prompt:

Press Enter
Then copy and paste this in:
netsh int ip reset reset.log
Press Enter.
When finished restart your computer.
