<a href="http://highrevcustoms.com/lt1rx7.htm" target="_blank">My RX5.7</a><br />
<br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/fcsunshine.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
<br />
<br />
So here we have the Block<br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/enginebefore.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
<br />
it was nasty! needed to be cleaned and honed and the block needed to be decked<br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/enginebefore2.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
Here are the NASTY pistons and rods<br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/oldpistons.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
<br />
The intake before it was washed and all those good things<br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/intakebefore.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
O what fun that was. So after about 500 in parts and labor I started working on the motor<br />
<br />
So here we have the block nice and cleaned out. Bored 30 over because two cylinders had some bad marks on it <br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/lt1cleaned.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
and here is the other side<br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/lt12.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
Here are the new pistons and rods<br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/newpistons.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/newrods.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
So now that i have all this cleaned up and new stuff i started to put it all together<br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/rebuild.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/rebuild2.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
so the crank was polished and checked no major damage done to it and all together and all clearance checked i was happy :D<br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/rebuild3.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
the heads are stock and i had the intake cleaned and painted new cam bearings and the stock cam met the specs so i was able to put it all together<br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/intakeafter.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
New pushrods and all the goodies<br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/newpushrods.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/longblock2.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
and here it is all together<br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/engin%20together.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
now not pictured is my fully built T56 from Six Speed Inc. It was built with CF syncs gears to match my 4.10 rear end gears bronze pads, and all the great stuff in it!<br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/t56.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/t561.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/t563.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
<br />
Well i don't have many pictures of putting the motor in but i have a few pictures!<br />
Lets start with the mouting bracket for the motor!<br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/motorout.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
As you can see i beefed up the sway bar and tried my best to clean it up. <br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/motorputin.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
Whats not pictured was the rattle can spray job i did to the whole engine bay<br />
Shifter in place looks like its Stock :)<br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/engin%20together.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
So after a few hours and a lot of getting pissed off i i got the motor in!<br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/eningein.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
Sorry for the blurry pics<br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/newcovers.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
new valve covers<br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/newcovers2.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
Here is the video of the day I finally got it together and running!<br />
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bKa4U3HcUC8" target="_blank">YouTube - V8 FC</a><br />
well the shifter was really tall so i got a short shifter and a hurst shift knob<br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/shortshifter.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/newknob.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
<br />
So after all the work i finally got the chance to play it took me almost a full year to get everything together including losing the tranny and having to getting everything rebuilt cost me $1500 after the core so here is some<br />
Here are the pics from the FC getting its new t56 it was so scary driving it home I had it at my Dads house and he helped me put it in!<br />
I thought it was going to be a mess but we worked out pretty good and got it done fast!<br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/homeaftertrannyswap.jpg" border="0" alt="" /> <br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/homeaftertrannyswap1.jpg" border="0" alt="" /> <br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/homeaftertrannyswap2.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
So after all that i didn't to much to it but then i bought a house and she needed a new home :)<br />
But when I got her home i got her some new shoes too, yes the shoes are right off a 2002 Mustang GT<br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/wheels.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
So here is a video that my wife made famous, but I installed new shocks, springs and the new wheels and tires<br />
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1t9UFk1W3Yc" target="_blank">YouTube - RX7 wih new wheels and setup</a><br />
<br />
When i got it home I had a custom box made for my trunk and then I found some tail lights to make it look a little better<br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/subsntail2.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/subsntail1.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/subsntail.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
<br />
So I finally got the chance to play around with her on the track. So here is my first time Auto Crossing<br />
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zY0w54XP28&amp;feature=player_profilepage" target="_blank">YouTube - My first time Auto X</a><br />
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWTxe2YfSjs&amp;feature=player_profilepage" target="_blank">YouTube - First time at AUTO cross part 2</a><br />
And then once I really got the hang of it this was my best time yet!<br />
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zk69EGKDNms&amp;feature=player_profilepage" target="_blank">YouTube - my best first auto cross runs</a><br />
<br />
So I can tell you I was a little scared and this was my first time racing! please the girls recording didn't know we can hear them :D<br />
<br />
So I got use to it and I made a second run <br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/autocross.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
<br />
look at that roll<br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/autocross8.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
What a blur..lol<br />
<img src="http://highrevcustoms.com/images/autocross5.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></div>
