the strange thing is that when im on facebook it doesnt happen, but when im on all other websites (ive tried other browsers and its the same) it does do it.

i using my brothers computer so its new, and its apartently a 64bit xp. i also cant get itunes working, apartently they dont do a 64bit version for xp, which sucks. do u know how i could itunes on here? Im not fussed if i dont get the latest version either...

Anyway my problem with mozilla is that it does not load websites after some time of using the computer, and the time ranges from 10 minutes to 1 hour. It doesnt exactly not load the page. What happens is that for some websites it jus shows a blank screen and at the bottom there is the word Done shown there. For other websites like www.onemanga.com/Naruto/472/01/ it loads everything except the .jpg file, and it shows a Loading ... media at where a loaded .jpg file should be at. Basically I cannot surf anything at all.

The weird thing is that this situation causes all web browsers to have the same problem. I have tried with Google Chrome and IE 7. Both seems to have the same problem too.

Any idea how I can solve this? I am just an ordinary retired domestic user who uses Email for family and friends plus a few business matters.

I have used OE for years but have now installed Firefox TB. I like it, especially with it`s walnut dress on and it works fine. BUT, I have the impression that it is a parasite of OE. I have both OE and Firefox TB on my PC.

It seems that whilst I can send emails on TB with no problem, received or incoming mail goes into OE and then is relayed to TB.

I do not want TWO left boots, just ONE. I do not wish to have both OE and TB playing babes in the wood together

QUESTION
Can I disable OE and just have TB ? I do not wish to have both. Retaining OE to act as a parasitic surrogate mother to TB is about as ridiculous as one can get. I will not uninstall OE, but just wish to retire it.

I have Mozilla as my default browser. I also have IE7. My Yahoo messenger starts when I load my PC no problem but if I click any links from there e.g my email then I get a message that starts off like this: 'http\\msg.edit.yahoo.com\config\reset_cookies blah blah blah...it is extremely long.

Now if I already have a Firefox browser open then the links will open fine. And if I have IE7 as my default browser then it will open a link in IE without me having to open the browser first.

Can anyone advise what I need to do? I also find that when I am shutting down, most of the time Yahoo Messenger will not respond and require me to manually close it down...which often interferes with me using standby/hibernation features.

Any help is appreciated

Sometimes if I have a web page loaded into a Firefox tab, and if that webpage contains a video, the little activity thingy on the tab never stop cycling.

I guess this is something to do with the way streaming video works.

But what I'd like to know, is this an indication of constant Internet activity?

I might not want to watch the video straight away so I'll leave the tab loaded. Am I thus experiencing bandwidth usage all the time that the activity doover is running around in its little circle?
