Hello all

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I need help figuring out a problem I have with AOL's 9.5 software. Actually its more of a nuisance than anything.

Ok after opening AOL 9.5, if and when I click the "X" in the upper right or even go to "file" then "close" or "exit", the program doesn't fully close. It still shows the AOL icon in the lower right (taskbar notifications area). I right click the icon then go to "close AOL 9.5", but nothing happens. I have to go into the task manager and in the processes tab click on "aolsoftware.exe" fully close aol that way.

My question is, is there a way to make aol close out fully without going thru all that?

Hi there

My problem is I get a lot of lack(starts buffering all the time) when I am streaming a video from the internet. Like watching a tv program on the internet...

It only happens some days, it is like there are good and bad days...

I do not know quite how fast my connection is, but I just made a test on speedtest.net, which came up with this result:
Ping: 214 ms
Dl. Spd.: 1,55 Mb/s
Up. Spd.: 0,66 Mb/s

So as far as I can se, it is not because my connection is too slow

So what do you think is the problem and what to do about it?

I didn't like it, and decided to unstinall. Fair enough.

But after i uninstalled it, i tried to download a file. And the popup came up with "This download has been transfered to Orbit Downloader ..."
But i dont have the program installed?
I checked through all my folders to search for it. Found nothing.
I reinstalled Google Chrome. Nothing changed.

Whenever i have to download anything, i have to find the download link and go into Internet Explorer and use that.
The problem only exists in Google Chrome, not Firefox or IE. (But i like Chrome too much to change :) )

Recently my browsers have been failing to connect. This happens at random, and the only way i have found so far to get them working again is to reboot the system. This has become quite annoying. I would really like some suggestions on what could be causing this and a solution.
