Is it possible to have several url

The only way I am aware of,is to go to the control panel
for your domain registrar and set them to redirect to
the website you want it to go to.

Yes it is. As long as the DNS for each domain is set up properly, it's just a matter of setting things up on the web server. How this is done will depend on if you're using Apache or IIS. If you have your website hosted with a web hosting company, you should ask their tech support how you can do it. Usually, they'll provide you with a control panel that will let you do this. If your control panel is CPanel, I can give you the steps on how to do this. If you're managing your own server, I can help you if it's Apache.

Isn't there a much simpler way? Direct the first domain (IE the main one you would prefer to be known by) to the IP address of the server so as to load correctly (I'm tryying to word this as best as possible). Then simply set the A record for the others to direct to the main domain?

This is a 2 step process. The first step is setting up the DNS portion of the domain. Once that's done, you have to set up the web server to properly handle the domain name.

Indeed. But, that's what I said lol... I guess I what I said wasn't very clear on the re-read. But yes, surely that is never-the-less the easier way to have more than one domain?

I have three domains that are directed at sites that reside on the same server. I just use redirects and it works great.

Send a message via Yahoo to jeepers1950
I'm getting ready to launch my new buisness and wrote my website with Yahoo Sitebuilder. I am a total novice at creating web sites but did what I think is a good job. I would like 2 or 3 url's to lead to my main site. Does anyone know if Yahoo Sitebuilder and/or Yahoo Webhosting can handle this sort of thing?? Can anyone recommend a better website builder or better web host than Yahoo that a novice can handle?

Thanks.

it would certainly be a cinch to do.

Simply set the DNS for all 3 of your domain names to the IP of your server, then wait like 48 hours for it to propogate, and it should work just fine.
