windows media 10 (DRM)

I'll repost this here too.. i put it in the windows 2003 server section too.... didnt know which one would be better....

any way... i am consulting a corporation tomorrow ( i was just asked today.. sorry for the short notice....) on how they can put archived videos up on the web but keep them secure... does any one know if this program is good?? i'm just trying to get some info to see if this is a viable solution to their issue... the want to keep the video's open to the public (for viewing) other wise i was just going to suggest putting a password protect on the section... if any one has any suggestions please fill me in.... i have limited experience when it comes to this... and i'm doing this as a favor... i want to present them with the most possible options... thanks... Your best bet is to embed the videos into a web page, of the sorts like sites such as gprime.net or other video sites have.

Then you can store your videos in a place where no one can get to them, unless they view them through the web page.

You can always look at the HTML source to get the URL to the video's. I do this a lot since Opera under Linux doesn't allow me to view embeded videos, so I manually download them to view them.
