looking for a program recommendation
Hi all, I need to find a simple free web editing program (like dreamweaver without the price tag). Any suggestions?

Check out MS Frontpage Express. I think that's free. A little outdated, though, unless they have a newer version than what I used to use.

Something like frontpage express would be perfect, but I was under the impression that it was a retail program that you had to purchase. I'm looking for freeware... If frontpage is free, could you point me in the right direction?

Notepad!!
I really like Homesite as well. In version 4.5.x it even included a WYSIWYG live editor that would let you just throw stuff into it and it'd create the code for you. In version 5+ that was taken out.

Hi
I use this one.. http://www.coffeecup.com/html-editor/download.php A couple of features are missing that you get in the pay version, but I don't miss them. It's got wizards and stuff, and I like it mainly because it doesn't fill up pages with lots of excess code. Cheers Liam
