Membership Subscription

hi, i am currently working on a website, and i would like to make a section of this website to require membership access for it only.

What could i do to make an automated system, that will include all information about the users, so that when they pay, their information is listed on a database, if their membership expires, then it is disabled from being visible on the database until the renew?

Is there an application that i should install that is offered by my server, i have a hostmonster account, and i looked through the e-commerce solutions but i am actually not sure what to look for.

I am open to any suggestions. Generally speaking, i would like to know all possible alternatives since if my business grows, i am willing to invest more on it from the revenues.

Does anybody how this system could work,

how can i integrate payment system with my website, so that as soon as they pay, they have access to the site, and by the end of the subscription, they are no longer able to access the site.
