Dos program on a web site

Here is the need.

I have a complete dos program that runs great and answers all the needs of a website for a client to serach and update a data file.

I just cannot get it to load on the client side. It runs fine from the server side.

I use an html ref command to reference the program.

On the client side I can get various errors depending on whether I use a PIF reference or just the program itself. If I use the PIF file, the client running an XP system gets "Invalid startup directory, please check your PIF file".

If use just the program, the client gets nothing but a quick blink.

Thanks for you help.

Re: Dos program on a web site

It works on your dev machine because the files are all located on it. What you want is something script-based that can be interacted with via a browser, right?

Re: Dos program on a web site

At this point I will try to work with anything...Yes.. a script would be great. I am a good editor but I am not much on creating scripts...anything you could provide as an example would be great...Thanks.
