Opening new window on website

In order to make my website more useable to visitors, I have to permit them to link to other websites. What do I need to do in order for the link to be opened on a new window on my website so that they have to come back to my site prior to exiting?

you can create a target "_blank" on your <a> tag.

for example

<A HREF="newwindow.html" TARGET="_blank">a new window</A>

Thanks for the quick response. I'm not really too technically adept at deciphering html applications. Could you give me a little more detail.

One of the sites that I want to link to and then back to my website is:

I've done most of the work on my website, but it's been a learn as I go process, using some tutorials that Point2Agent has available.

On your website you have a link then you want your visitor to open a new window after clicking the link right? So for example you have a word click here to visit this site.

The word "click here" will be your link and then create the <a> tag.
