I bought www.vermillionblog.com two weeks ago with Namesecure. I still can't access it. FP extensions are up, whoops, they're down. Also, Namesecure has no blogging capability. Can someone tell me the very best blogging webhost? I know that there are thousands out there and who has time to research all that? I'm looking for a simple personal blogging webhost and I'll transfer all my domain names to them. Thanks so much for your help, peoples. : )

Do you have experience using Wordpress? or you use blogger by google and then just ask for their CNAME so you can change the DNS records of your domain from your current host.

Any webhost that has php capabilities should suit your needs fairly well, If you have purchased the domain plus hosting, generally what happens is the web host will provide you with name server entries to utilize with your domain to bring it live on the net. Once you make your nameserver changes and they have propagated across the internet you will then be able to access the domain via web browser (Firefox, IE, Opera).

After you have your domain name setup properly you can begin to look into which blogging software you wish to use, there are tons out there some free some not. I have personally taken favorite to WordPress, it has a simple yet clean interface and is very easy to install.

Sites like http://blogger.com http://www.wordpress.com does Blog management, provide free host and blogger helps you in getting revenue from adsense too... You can try those free services instead to setup your own script and maintaining it.
