Create Trackig Links for my website

hi,

i was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction, i have created a website and have had requests from clients to link to my site but for me to be able to distinghuish that the client if purchases or enquires about anything came from their site.

i am not sure if this could be done with cookies or if there is a tutorial on this? any advice on this would be greatly appreciated, the ad tracker sites on the net dont do so far what i am trying to achieve.

many thanks in advance for your help,

andrew

Re: Create Trackig Links for my website

If you're selling stuff on your site and want to keep track of who is refered to your site and buys so you can pay a commission/fee for that sale, you'll probably want to look at affiliate software. I'm not really familiar with the options that are available, so I can't be of any further help. The best thing to do is locate several options and choose the one that best suits your needs. If you already have a shopping cart installed, there may be affiliate software that integrates with your software, so that's a good place to start looking.
