Batcave, closed can I redirect subdomain

Hi everyone,

we had http://phoenixrisingharley.batcave.net/ I have spent hundreds of hours on listing this site (Harley Rides, Melbourne Australia) and it now comes up on the first page of a google search for harley rides melbourne, i was so happy about that, but now that batcave has closed and moved to another host does anyone know how I can redirect to our other site www.phoenixrisingharley.com.au/ which by the way doesnt come up anywhere near as good as the batcave one as it hasnt been up as long and i havnt listed it in nearly so many places, does anyone know if we would be able to register phoenixrisngharley.batcave.net

I am frantic, our phone has stopped ringing.

If anyone has any ideas I would so much appreciate it.

It is technically impossible to "register" a subdomain on its own. The only way to get it is by buying batcave.net or if the owners let you use the subdomain.

I'm afraid this is just one of the risks when you start out not using a real domain. You will just have to work on "www.phoenixrisingharley.com.au", this will be better in the long run as you will have control over your sites address and not someone that can just disappear.

Hi scott, thank you for your reply, at least I know now. It is sooo disappointing. I have taught myself everything, I knew nothing about computers at all, most of the things I have learned have been the hard way, like this instance, it is so good though to have forums like this to help, it is quicker and better help than most other services that you actually pay for.
