Dedicated server, namesservers etc..
Hi Guys,
Having a problem with setting up a domain name via godaddy.com. I bought a domain name and need to point it to our dedcated server. The account on the server has only 1 IP. Im unsure of the nameservers for this dedicated server but im assuming its the same as the nameservers on the other website domains that are connected to the server. Godaddy allows you to change the nameservers but not point to an IP and you must have 2 nameservers. You can Set Host and IPs, so i tried adding NS1.mydomain.com and NS2.mydomain.com and using the 1IP i have to both the nameservers and this didnt seem to work either. Any ideas?? |
