Is there a method of checking a website for information and notifying *me* when there is a change? Without RSS?
I think it would download the file, or print out results (if it were generated server side) to a file at a regular interval, and then check to see if it matches the existing file. Thanks. |

Well I suppose the only way a website would be able to notify you instead of an RSS feed would be if the website had PHP or ASP involved.
The database would store all the people's emails and you can set it that once a week an email was mailed to you. Is that what you were looking for ? If not, please elaborate a bit more ... Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year !! ![]()
