Web Easy Professional Five Help Please
If you visit my website at http://travcofree.com you can see the pages need to be smaller.
When I first put my website together I made the pages 1024 X 800 because it fit my laptop screen perfectly. Today I saw it on someone elses computer and went to change the page sizes so at least everyone else could see the pages without scrolling. Any way,....... I went to the editing portion of the web easy pro 5 and changed the size of all the pages to 800 X 600. Every single page has shrunk to about one square inch to the upper left hand corner of the editing page. The background apparently stayed the same size and is still black. This is what it looks like in the editing mode of the webeasy pro 5.: <img src="http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c325/glyphman/pic1234.jpg" alt="Image hosted by Photobucket.com"> You are viewing about 1/8 th of the actual full page. And all of the pages have done the same thing. I can not get the pages back to normal. |

Hi,
On checking the site it seems that it's back to normal. You may have the old (shrunk) version still in your cache. Go to the site, and press (Shift + F5) to reload it. Cheers Liam

I did not know until just now that:
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\Web Easy\temp\preview.htm is only viewable on my pc. So all I have to show is the pic in the original post. If you can imagine that what you are looking at in the picture is all of the images and text etc., have shrunk to about one square inch, yet it looks as though the black backgrounded page did change to the 800 X 600. |

I'm assuming that when you say "I made the pages 1024 X 800" you're referring to either table size or frameset size - I'm not familiar with the editor you're using but, I know that with some WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editors when you (re)size a table/frameset it will give you an option to resize it in pixels or in percentage (of the page). Looks like that may be an area to look into also.
maybe for now instead of pulling your hair out over what went wrong, you can just trash the local files (just the html ones in question) and download what you have up on the server so you can start fresh. |
