Need to let customers download photos online for me to make their photo charms

I need to download my customers personal photos from my wesite so that I may make custom photo charms.
I have seen this done and would like to add it to my site. I am making my site with Yahoo Sitebuilder and know nothing about building a site other than what I've done with Sitebuilder.
Here is an example of a site that enables customers to download personal photos. http://www.caranois.com/CPCMain.cfm

My site is charmingbella.net

Well, I can recommend two things, but these go beyond Yahoo Sitebuilder as far as level of skill needed.

1. FTP - You could set up a FTP server either remotely hosted or on your own computer. Then you can make a new account for every client. This way they can upload as many photos as needed to their own seperate account. You could then retreive their files that way.

2. Coppermine - You could set up Coppermine Photo Gallery (http://coppermine-gallery.net/) which would allow your users to upload photos via the browser. Then you could just view their gallery and save their photos by right clicking and hitting save image as.

Both of these options can be implemented very cheaply. You will either need to host yourself, which is not recommended for a beginner, or use another host. I recommend http://doorhost.net because they have all you need and only charge $5.00/MO.

Let me know if there is anything else I can calrify for you.

If you use Doorhost, yes, you can link to it from your site. Just run the Coppermine off of Doorhost or run FTP off of Doorhost.

You may need some additional help if you want to have each user have a seperate account for their photos. If you are just using Yahoo Sitebuilder this may be beyond your comfort zone. You may want to look into having your clients email you their photos, as this may be easiest for both sides.

Let me know if you need more help.
