Did you receive the message? Not all validation requests go in the bulk mail folder. I'm really not sure what you expect us to tell you. Try getting in contact with Yahoo.

Not exactly. This is more of an issue with Yahoo, since Yahoo Mail is a webmail client, and there is nothing installed on your computer that relates to Yahoo mail. This is either a server-side problem, or you have just not received any spam mail yet.
Is this a new account? Was the folder there before? As far as I know, there is no way to hide or remove the Bulk mail folder. Last edited by Resolution : 12-10-2005 at 03:42 PM. |

Since you said your account is new, then that can only mean that you have yet to receive any spam mail. Once you receive a spam message, the Bulk mail folder will be created automatically to store the messages. Yahoo even states this on their help page. |

The easiest is to sign up for some junk from somewhere using your yahoo account. You will then see this notice in your inbox from Yahoo.
Yahoo! Bulk Folder Activation Notice Dear ******@yahoo.com: Yahoo! Mail has created a Bulk folder for your account, as you received a message that we suspect to be unsolicited commercial email, commonly known as spam. Using SpamGuard, we automatically detect spam and direct it to your Bulk folder, so that it doesn't clutter your inbox and get in the way of the messages you really want. Messages in the Bulk folder do not count toward your storage quota.

You never want to sign up for spam. The OP seems a bit impatient. The Bulk mail folder will eventually appear in time. It's not like he is somehow losing emails.
