Large image collection
Hi web guru's...
What do you all think would be the best way to set up large collections (hundreds) of images on a web page so that they're easily accessible and you don't have to manually set up every image? I'm guessing setting up a database, but what would be the easiest way to impliment it... asp, php, etc? Thanks for any and all advice, Six

Well a database will probably be need. I'd recommend MySQL with PHP.
You could categorise your links and when you click on a certain category 10 or more images could be done in a rollover. The images would be sliding slowly across the screen and when you either click on do a mouse over the image pops up enlarged. That's the way I would do it. ![]()

Using something prebuilt would be best.
I have a PHP image gallery software, but the problem is the name is "gallery" so I'll have to do a bit of hunting first. Let me know if you are interested.
