Programming language
I wanted to know if anyone could recommend a good beginners DVD computer programming course. I know there are many out there but this is foreign soil to me and I wanted to get a few opinions before I jumping into this. To help someone give me an informed opinion, I don't have a specific goal for learning programming, I just want to learn. I would need to start with the easiest possible language. I have built my own pc and I know my way around the hardware. I consider myself fairly capable on a pc but I don't know the first thing about writing code. Any course I take will have to spoon feed me from point A to point B. Also I would like to find one that is strictly a DVD or CD ROM course, I hate text books. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks! Lewis

Hi,
firstly there are so many to choose from that it would be difficult to second guess you. This section is the Website building forum and deals with client side languages such as Javascript, HTML, XML etc, and serverside languages such as PHP, ASP and perl. If you are looking for programming to build applications, games etc. then I would suggest asking here. Hope that gives you a start. Please ask for more info. Cheers Liam
