Question Download Directory...

I wanna save a whole online directory including all of its sub folders. I can't seem to find any way possible to do this. Its an http:// server if that helps any.
Any help would be awsome.

If its your server you can download something like smartftp, ftp into the server and easily download what you want.

If it isnt your server you can read http://www.cbi.pku.edu.cn/Doc/CS/wget/man.wget.html and use wget to download the needed files.

^so is that the only solution? there has to be an easier way. And its not an ftp server.

There are programs like HTTrack that will spider websites for you.

That will only work if all of the content specified is linked in some form I believe, and if pages are in PHP, it will only save the HTML output.

So basically you are taking a picture of the page at that moment in time, not downloading all the files in the directory.

Is that sort of what you meant?
