marquee

a JR in my internship is having a problem and i cant solve it, he wants a marquee to slide in wich i know how to do but he wants it to stop in the center of the page and we can grt it to do that can you help? thanks

Damion, I personally don't use marquees that often.

I know and have made marquees before but not to stop in the middle. Therefore, I went to google but unfortunately there is nothing like that.

Are you sure its possible ?

yah thats the same thing i said i can stop them but not in the center i was thinking though if he put it in its own litle table border set to 0 it would stop at the edge of it im pretty sher because it stops at the edge of a page so that should do the same with the border of a table

I suppose you could create a table and set the marquee within that. The marquee would go to the edge and back and then simply move the table so that the left or right hand side is in the middle.

I think your idea and that one is about the best you can get happening. There are marquees I can code for you that when mouse over go slower etc. but I don't think its possible to have it stop in the middle.

well i know the code to make it stop so having it in a table it would stop at the edge i tested it after i posted yesterday and it worked, me and my little JR im supose to be helping are greatful for your help
