Site bans with Apache 2.0.54 (Win32)

How can I use Apache to site ban people? I've tried doing it through my firewall software but I don't know if it's working.

if by site ban you mean block certain ips from viewing your site you can use .htaccess. I dont have any examples b/c i never had to do it but just google writing .htaccess
