ok im about done with my Flash web site but i need my video on the site wich i can do but suck quality s i decided to do a simple page in HTML i need to put a link from the flash to make the page open in another window so how do i do that?

Create a Button and then go to the Actions Panel and put in the following Code:

on (release) {
	gotoAndPlay("SCENENAME",1);

}

dosent work i had already tried it but i copy pasted your code and replaced screen name with "page.HTML" and all it did was take me to frame 1 i want to link to and outside sorce, thanks for trying

I got it i was doing it right all along i forgot qoutation marks!

on (press) {getURL("page.html");

}

yah my site is complytly in flash except the music and the video the flash quality of the movie sucked so i had to do a basic page and i needed to link to it, and thanks for helping if you dint post i woulnt have relised i needed qoutation marks
