Changing text with javascript and/or css
Hi everyone, I have been toying unsuccessfully with setting up links to change the text of a table/cell/div.. or anything else that it will work with. I know how to set this up in javascript to change the inner html of a div, but I want something simpler... I won't be the one doing updates on the site, and don't want it to be too complicated. Here is the site, if this helps at all.
http://www2.newpaltz.edu/~hicke983/afa/index.html What I want, is to have a link in the right column to change the text of the textblock, so that I don't end up with a different webpage for every group of text. I played around with textareas and text fields, but they didn't seem consistent enough from browser to browser. Ideally, I would use inline frames, which are pretty simple to work with, but I am told that there can be compatibility issues with them... so I would prefer not to. This wasn't concise at all, if anyone wants me to clear up what I mean, I will certainly try Thanks for reading!
