[SOLVED] Notepad website
I am making a website using notepad and was wondering if anyone knew a way to make a page that loads up before you get to the homepage like this website has "gts-squad.net"
Does anyone know how to do this? |

Re: Notepad website
you don't necessarily need to use subfolders at all (except for things like "images" and "scripts")
they used "index.html" as their default page. You can typically set this to be any page you want, but index.html is the standard. then, they linked HOME to "index.php" they could have used "index.php" as their main page if they wanted to. or it could have been "index.asp" or ".aspx" or ".htm" , etc FrontPage liked using "default.htm" as the "main page" Point is: make a page, set it as your homepage (some servers require a index.html), then from there, link to w/e page you want to be your your ACTUAL home page. viola word of advice, though: skip the whole intro page thing... its so 1999...
