Re: Inserting Ads in WME stream
Hello hughdemand, welcome to TSF.
Unfortunately, I personally do not have any experience using WME, but I think this should be easy enough. Reading http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win...les/adswm.aspx should get you started off on the right track. If you have any trouble, please post back and we will be happy to assist you the best we can.

Re: Inserting Ads in WME stream
Thanks for the prompt reply
As suggested, I have reread the Microsoft article. It would appear that for WME to insert a file into the stream, the inserted file must reside on the WM Server , in my case I want to insert a file that is residing on the encoder machine not the server. I tested the procedure with a couple of my computers on my network and it seems that WM Player (as the client) tries to look on its computer for the file. If this is true, I would have to have the files on the WM Server and then invoke them from my encoder computer. I would really like to have the "ad" videos on my computer rather than the server ( which my supplier may not allow) and insert them from there. Any thoughts, anyone Thanks Hugh |
