Active Desktop Displaying Client information HELP!
Hi,
I'm creating an active desktop to be rolled out via Global Policy in my office. I've scripted the basic details up using html, then added 2x div's, one of which contains telephone directory details pulled from a .txt file using PhP. This is all up & running... The Dilema... I need to somehow show the clients IP address, Hostname, and Username of the person logged onto the machine on this wallpaper. This can mostly be obtained from an ipconfig from the command prompt. However, is there ANY way we can get this to auto generate a .txt file on the users machine each morning, and then for that information to be pulled onto the webpage. I hope this makes sense! Any help is appreciated! |
