"Untitled Document" on the web but not in Dreamweaver
I used Dreamweaver CS3 to create a website. I checked the pages using "Preview in Browser" and they come up titled correctly.
I used FileZilla to transfer them for uploading. I got the transfer successful message, but when I open the site on the web..."Untitled Document" appears on every page. What did I do wrong or how can I correct this? Wanna see code? www.palatinemanor.com Any help appreciated. I'm a student and this is a class project (my first). |

Re: "Untitled Document" on the web but not in Dreamweaver
Well, the only thing I can guess that YOU would be doing wrong is assuming the title in the window bar at the top showed the title in Dreamweaver, which doesn't sound like it's the case.
Anyhow, if this is Dreamweaver's fault, then you should just change it in code view. Just to make sure you are changing the title in the right place, it is in this little box on the toolbar. I attached a screenshot showing where you should be able to edit the title in the toolbar and if that's what you are doing I have the title circled in the code. Switch to code view and it should be in a similar place near the top. Good luck, let me know if you get it figured out. |
