Website not loading
I own a blog called Economic Thought, and periodically I can't reach it (while everyone else can). I get the following screen:
http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i2...etproblems.png I go to my root folder in my cpanel and everything is there. Why does it do this? It happens on any browser I use from my computer. Thanks. |

Re: Website not loading
Have you cleared your cache since you created the site? This may possibly just be the cached version on your computer of the blog.

Re: Website not loading
Ok, so I cleared my cache. Can't tell you if it had any effect, yet, since normally at this time of the day it works fine. But, when I tried to share my latest post on Facebook, I got the same expert (the Apache server error log or w/e), which leads me to believe that clearing my cache and all other private history didn't do anything.

Re: Website not loading
No, I wouldn't think clearing your cache would fix that, it's a server problem. Are you sure everyone else can see it fine? Contact your blogging/hosting company.

Re: Website not loading
I'm not a big Windows person, I use Macs myself, so I might not be the best person to help you with this.
This has to be a path issue unless the command files actually got deleted. But your path appears correct. I did notice, though, that the first screen shot you posted had C:\Windows\system32\cmd.exe in the title bar whereas the other two just say Command Prompt. Not sure what that means or what's causing it but I would say that, if anything, the one in C:\Windows\system32\cmd.exe should have worked because thats where all the command files are stored... am I wrong? Anyone else have thoughts on this? Maybe you should give this a shot in the Windows forum. |
