JavaScript code and making a php poll

Hey all,
I have been working on a simple website and now i am stuck. I need some help and would gratefully appreciate it. I need the code/script for the following:

A simple poll: Which brand? options: Nike or Adidas. And the poll must be executed without reloading the page and when executed the results are shown.

And i need to pop-out sidebar from the left side of the screen. And the content on the sidebar will include those stuff like: become a fan on facebook icon, follow twitter icon, digg, and subscribe to RSS.

Even if you know the answer to just one, i will be grateful. Thank you.

Hey, you're asking for quite a lot of work. With no reason, why are you writing this site?

Nobody here will do this for you so post back and i'll point you in the direction of somewhere you can learn to do it yourself.
