Joomla Coding Question

I'm using Joomla 1.5 and have taken a free template for my site under construction. The site is www.thewriteway.cc

How can I get rid of the tacky text ad links at the very bottom of the page?

I've looked in the HTML and CSS pages under Template Manager and read through each of the pages line by line by just can't find the text links.

Could it be somewhere under Breadcrumbs or Banner?

Try using FTP to access your server. Once you connect, go to Templates/(The name of your primary template). Try opening index.php and scroll down to the bottom to see if the links are there. Do you have experience with HTML? If not, copy and paste the code from index.php to here and I'll let you know what to remove.

Just a quick reminder; please make sure that the creator of this template knows you are removing the linkback. If you remove the linkback without his consent, you are stealing his work!
