Failed to connect to mailserver
Hiya, I didn't think bumping my old post would be appropriate so here she be. Basically I have a simple email form for a 'contact us' page, but I don't have a test server that runs sendmail (I'm using WAMP at the moment).
I just need to know if there is a problem with my code, something else, or does this message correctly show that the only thing missing is a server that will handle mail? I realize the mail address is 'blank@blank.com', for censorship reasons. Meh, call me insane. ![]() Code:
<?php
$name = $_POST['username'];
$email = $_POST['email'];
$text = $_POST['inquiry'];
//To, Subject, Message, Header
mail('blank@blank.com', 'Basic Inquiry', $text, 'From: ' . $name . ' <' . $email . '>');
?>
