Copy Protection
Hi, I have developed a CD which I am hoping to sell to people over the internet. It only features 2 flash files and a notepad file, but if i sell the CD to someone, then they can copy these files and make their own CDs for free and I could lose alot of money. Is there away to stop this from happening or a piece of software to stop this.
Thanks, Max. |

Re: Copy Protection
Nope. It's not physically possible. You can deter this but not actually copy protect them, given that for your software to run the users must be able to access the files on the CD. Best thing to do is leave a big legal disclaimer in there saying that you own the copyright and any copied CDs or redistributed materials found will be chased up and the perpetrators will be prosecuted if found... Simple as. Sorry.
