Question want to learn to program

hey,

does any body know a website where i can learn how to program, or indeed what i should do to start learning.

any and all info and comments will help a great deal.

If it's compiler-based programming help you're looking for, you're better off in the Programming forum, underneath the IT Pro section of the site. If you're looking for "web programming," then I'm assuming you mean such stuff as PHP, ASP, and JSP, as CSS and stuff like that is more scripting than programming.

For ASP resources/tutorials: http://www.w3schools.com/asp/default.ASP

For JSP resources/tutorials: http://www.jsptut.com/ (Note: This site assumes prior knowledge of Java, a full-fledged multiplatform compiler/interpreter programming language.)
