Help with Aolpress

I have been using Aolpress for a long time but recently it has quit working.
Does anyone know a program to replace Aolpress? I really like this program and hope there is another program that does the same thing as simple.
My problem is the conversion from HTM to HTML. Aolpress wants to make everything in HTM format.
Thanks

Re: Help with Aolpress

Can you give us a list of the features you are looking for?

You don't need to "convert" from .htm to .html. as they are the same file format. If this really bothers you, just add an "l" to the end of the file extension.

Re: Help with Aolpress

I need a program that works like AolPress, wysiwyg program. I don't know HTML very well and it is nice to link, insert images and cut and paste.
Surely someone out there makes a program like AolPress.
As for conversion from htm to html my server provider will not accept htm and when I use AolPres to upload with WsFtp or Filezilla the server does not reconize the changes I have made in AolPress.
What I really want is a program just like AolPress. When I rename a file AolPress will not recognize the changes and reverts back to htm.
Thanks for your help.

Re: Help with Aolpress

Wow, that's an old program if that is the case. I think all editors nowadays recognize both extensions.

You could try Arachnophilia http://www.arachnoid.com/arachnophilia/, a free editor written in Java.
