Need help with shared login information (database)
On my site I have utilized phpBB for use as a forum, and X7 Chat 2.0.5 for chat. I created one database for both applications, but they do not share the information for some reason.
For example, if I create a username (johnsmith) and password (blue123) via phpBB I cannot use that same name and login for X7 Chat without re-creating it specifically for X7 Chat  Does anyone have a way to fix this, or am I SOL?

They utilize different tables for the usernames. Integrating them is a tricky task. You need to replicate the phpBB user table to the X7 user table. Then you have to ensure that the encryption method is the same for both login scripts (I think phpBB3 uses MD5 still, but I'm not sure).
