awkward memory loss/refresh
hello, im hoping som1 can help me out a little, i transferred my website over form TrueCP to 1and1 for aprox 4weeks now, and there seems to be a problem
MAJOR problem is: 1) on the main webpage the user browses about > adds a product to the cart > clicks on checkout > login/enter new customer > the cart is automatically emptied and it says "cart is empty" - its like the website memory is wiped clean every 30seconds so if a customer wants to place an order they have to put all their details in FAST! 2) ok if the above point 1 does not occur then it will lead to a 'choose shipping method' page (once it gets here its fine [not 100% tho]) - explanation: choose shipping method > click on continue > click 'click to pay' > and choose any card. i think all of the cards work EXCEPT for Visa Debit. just tried it now 3 times and it takes me to a page that says webpage cannot be displayed. To me it seems theres some sort of time out on config files, but this problem did not occur when i was with TrueCP. Ok when we transferred, the only changes we made was the security settings on the database ("read & write" settings") Can som1 help me out with this as soon as possible please; Thanx Last edited by Inactive; 12-30-2008 at 07:21 AM.
